    Felipe Galindo Gomez (Feggo) was born in Cuernavaca, Mexico and has a BFA in Visual Arts from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He is a cartoonist, illustrator and independent animator. His humorous drawings have appeared in major publications such as The New Yorker, Mad, Nickelodeon, Reader’s Digest, Newsday,, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The International Herald Tribune, The Spectator and Prospect (England), Ode (Holland) and Redbulletin (Austria). His award winning animations include The Manhatitlan Chronicles and shorts for MTV’s Liquid Television program. He has participated in over a hundred exhibitions worldwide and has held 22 solo exhibitions. His project “Manhatitlan” is a travelling exhibition of humorous works on paper and animations about the intertwining of Mexican and New York cultures. He is the author of Cats Will Be Cats a collection of cat cartoons, published by Plume Books. The children’s book My Teacher Can Teach... Anyone! illustrated by Felipe was published by Lee and Low Books. He resides in New York City.
